The famous cheese brand has launched a new skincare brand. However, you might be wondering from the title itself whether Velveeta hand and body care cream are even real or not. Well, let’s briefly find out. 🙂
Okay, just to clarify, I’m writing this article specifically for people with dry sensitive skin because I’ve seen many posts and articles that talk about the products but don’t address people with this skin condition. Other readers are welcome to read it as well, they might find it helpful as well. 😀
Does the Velveeta skincare brand exist?
The beloved American cheese brand Velveeta is expanding into new markets. About a year ago, Velveeta launched V by Velveeta Skincare, which includes a daily moisturizer, night cream, and renewal serum. Only one question remains: is this real life?
Well guys the company announced the release of their new product, V by Velveeta, a new line of indulgent skincare that helps you discover your skin’s natural, creamy glow. Designed to leave your skin feeling smooth, hydrated, and moisturized, its products are inspired by the unmatched creaminess of Velveeta liquid gold. So, we could say that it could work for people with dry sensitive skin.
A few days after the new line of products was released on TikTok, Dr Shah aka @dermdoctor, one of my favourite online dermatologists ever, endorsed them. check the video here!
Is it real still?
The product may be “real” in a sense (it appears Velveeta made a limited run of skincare products), but we should not expect Velveeta to become a skincare company anytime soon.
And while it appeared to be an April Fools’ Day joke, Velveeta insisted that it was true. 
They even developed a website, vbyvelveeta.com, where people were able to sign up to be on a waiting list after the announcement. They also claimed it was real even on social media. However, as of now, the website does not appear to be available.
Some say Velveeta has developed a moisturizing hand and body cream that leaves the hands feeling smooth and soft: but how well does this work? Unfortunately, there is not enough information available, and we cannot draw any conclusions. I researched extensively for hours and was unable to come up with anything relevant. To be honest, it left a lot of unanswered questions.Â
Based on the information found on some websites, it appears that it is currently unavailable. This is because the website claimed that it was an April Fools gag promotion ending after the 1st of April 2021.
Ultimately, the brand has left many with many questions, and hopefully one day they will answer them all.
Given their claim that the product contains natural ingredients, it might be beneficial to people with dry sensitive skin. But we do not fully know yet, we will see! 🙂
